However, as monster density drops and teleporting distance increases, the lite sorc will start to dominate the clear times. The Java will clear even faster than your sorc in Cows. In terms of clearing speed, assuming you want to kill all the trash mobs in each zone, the sorc and java actually clear with comparable rates in Chaos Sanctuary once you reach the centre (the star area) although your sorc will teleport to the start much faster. With mid-tier gear, the java is exponentially safer than the sorc and can survive teleporting into the middle of a De Seis pack for instance. With top end gear, there is no such thing as "heavy pressure" because the whole screen literally dies in 2 seconds with both lite sorc and java.

It really depends on your build and budget. Would a max block javazon with 1 point into passives be much less likely to die under heavy pressure compared to either light sorc or trapsin? Things like that are what I would take into consideration. When you say "sacrifice a little bit of such efficiency", how little are we talking? Are there any pros in favor of the other builds besides being more fun/off the wall? I know Trapsin has the advantage of dealing with potential light immunes that Infinity can't break thanks to Death Sentry.

I suppose I should have known, otherwise the other builds would be 'meta'.
